From 2002, Shizuoka University has provided an intensive Japanese language course (Summer School) to the students from partner universities based on the “Student Exchange Agreement” for the purpose of giving students an opportunity to learn the Japanese language and Japanese culture.
The purposes of this Summer School is not only to help students improve their knowledge of Japan through the Japanese language and culture classes, but also to deepen mutual understanding between Korea(or Noth America) and Japan through various exchanges with Japanese people including volunteer students and other international students at Shizuoka University.
Period
Students who are selected by the universities based on the “Student Exchange Agreement”.
Two credits of the Japanese Language Program of the Organization for International Collaboration are offered to the students who have successfully completed the Japanese language classes (16 classes).
