Research Students

Research students are students who conduct a research work under the guidance of an advising professor. When persons are recognized that they are at the level of bachelor degrees on their research fields or their academic abilities are equal to or greater than that, they can become a research student. They cannot get degrees. Besides, they need to find an advising professor at Shizuoka University who will supervise their research and get their permissions for acceptance from the professor.

Credited Auditors

Credited Auditors are students who choose and take a lecture/lectures offered by Shizuoka University for six months or one year. They can earn credits if they take exams at the end of the term and achieve excellent results.

Auditors

Auditors are students who choose and attend a lecture/lectures offered by Shizuoka University for six months or one year. They cannot earn credits like as Credited Auditors.

Special Auditors

These are undergraduate and graduate students from sister universities of Shizuoka University who study at Shizuoka University for a short term (no more than one year).

Special Research Students

Special Research Students are graduate students who belong to other Universities which conclude an exchange agreement with Shizuoka University, and research under professors of Shizuoka University.
