Visa Procedures
1. Residence-related procedures
If you renew or change your status of residence while you are still at school, please immediately renew or change it at the following Immigration Bureau. The same applies when calling a family from your home country. In addition, if you work part-time job, you need “Permission to Engage in an Activity Other Than That Permitted Under the Status of Residence Previously Granted”. Please go to Nagoya Immigration Bureau Shizuoka Branch or Hamamatsu Branch for procedures regarding residence. It is a good idea to inquire in advance about necessary documents.

2. Resident registration
Within 14 days after moving to Shizuoka City / Hamamatsu City, You must complete the move-in procedures at the ward office. If you move within the city, you must also complete the procedure of change of address at the ward office.
