Asia Bridge Program, Careers in Japan preparatory course (ABP-JC)
Eligible Students
International students of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Shizuoka university, who wish to find employment in Japan upon graduation. The students must have intention to complete the course by taking all the required subjects. Bachelor students must be enrolled below or on their third year and master students must be enrolled in their first year at the time of application for the course.
＊Students who are not registered for the course can also take the designated subjects for this course.
Application
International students who wish to take the course must attend the course guidance either in person or online, and then complete the online application form below.
Online guidance（Video & handouts）*Registration in Office 365 by Shizudai ID is required.

Completion Requirements
Students must obtain at least the number of credits specified as follows for three components of the course.
- Japanese language
Bachelor’s (All 6 faculties)
Japanese language : 2 subjects, 4 credits
Careers education : 2 subjects, 3 credits
Internship : 1 subject, 2 credits *Duration of internship has to be longer than two weeks
Master’s
Japanese language : more than 2 subjects, more than 4 credits
Careers education : 1 subjects, 2 credits
Internship : 1 subject, 1 credits *Duration of internship has to be longer than two weeks

Certificate
You can report the completion of the course at the end of each semester. Those who meet the requirements for completion will receive a certificate, issued by Shizuoka university.
Report of your career pathway
All students enrolled in the course must report their employment offers and career decisions prior to their graduation.
