On Tuesday, 23 April 2024, a delegation from Riga Technical University (RTU) led by Dr. Tālis Juhn, Rector, and Ms. Liene Briede, Vice-Rector for Innovations, visited Shizuoka University’s Shizuoka campus. The visit aimed to foster international cooperation and explore opportunities for academic and research collaborations between the two institutions.

The guests met with President Kazuyuki Hizume, Prof. Masakazu Hara, Dean of the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Prof. Yoshimasa Kawata, Trustee for Research and Innovation, and Prof. Makoto Kondo, Vice-President for International Strategy.
