An interactive internship that gives international students from Shizuoka University an advanced work experience and at the same time supports employment at companies in Shizuoka Prefecture has started at ASTI on September 15th.
Fifteen ASTI employees, one Bangladesh international student, and one Vietnamese international student participated in the cross-cultural understanding training for companies on the first day. The first half of the training was a cross-cultural experience game, and the second half was an introductory lecture, but the content was mainly for companies that accept international students.
Mr. Suzuki, Manager of the Personnel Division, General Affairs Department of ASTI Management Headquarter said, “As the Japanese youth population is declining, it is becoming impossible to hire new graduates of Japanese university students. If international students want to get a job at a company in Hamamatsu, I would like them to have a direct conversation with ASTI Japanese employees and deepen their exchanges so that they can get job at ASTI. ”
The internship at ASTI will continue to the final report session on the 30th with intermediate report session on the 22nd of this month.
