An interactive internship that matches the management issues of companies in Shizuoka Prefecture with the expertise (research) of foreign students at Shizuoka University and also supports employment at the company also starts at A.I.S on September 14th.
Prior to the training, in front of the international students and employees who participated, A.I.S President Suzuki said, “As part of international exchange or global management, Indian, Vietnamese, and A.I.S employees. I want all of you to deepen exchanges and have meaningful interactive activities.
In addition to four Vietnamese students and one Indian student, six A.I.S employees participated in the cross-cultural understanding training held on the first day. In the first half of the training, each participant was able to enjoy understanding different cultures through a card game prepared by Specially Appointed Professor Fujimaki from Organization for International Collaboration. In the introductory lecture in the latter half, Professor Fujimaki introduced to A.I.S Japanese employees the issues and problems that Japan and Japanese companies have, and explained the significance of hiring foreign students.
Ms. Do Thi Mai Huong who belongs to the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, attended this internship and said, “I would like to contribute to the automobile industry in Vietnam. I want to learn the production process and line process at A.I.S and I would like to challenge whether I can improve something or propose new technologies and products with my knowledge.” Training at A.I.S will continue to the final report session on the 28th with intermediate report session on the 21st of this month.
