On September 24th, the final report session for the interactive internship was held at Yokota Ringyo.
The final report session was attended by President Yokota, Indonesian student Mr.Syafiq (Optical Science Laboratory, Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology) and Vietnamese student Mr.Tin (Department of Mathematical Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering).
At the session, the final report was made about “development of equipment for detecting surface defects in aluminum castings by using image processing technology” which was announced at the midterm report session. In order to complete the detection device, a series of programming training, assembly work, and verification experiments with prototypes were reported. Besides that, it was also reported that they practiced assembling the bicycle “Midship Cargo System Bike” originally developed by Yokota Ringyo.
Mr. Syafiq commented, “I was able to acquire a lot of skills through this internship. I felt the need to study Japanese.” Mr. Tin said, “In addition to new knowledge and skills, I was able to train my way of thinking to solve problems and communication skills with employees ” President Yokota said, “International students showed me the way to complete the image processing technology, so I would like to continue to support it. The positive attitude toward the internship between the two students stimulated me for future business development. I got a chance to think about it. ”
It was a meaningful interactive internship for two international students.
