インタラクティブ・インターンシップ最終報告会がASTIで開催
９月３０日、ASTIでインタラクティブ・インターンシップ最終報告会が開催された。
同報告会には、ASTI社員はじめ、バングラデシュ人留学生のイスラムさん（総合科学技術研究科電子物質科学コース専攻）とベトナム人留学生のクアンさん（工学部電気電子工学科）が出席した。
イスラムさんは、今回のインターンシップのプログラムを振り返り、実習での学びと将来のキャリア目標について発表した。クアンさんは、実習体験の報告と将来の目標について発表し、「インターンシップを通じで、ASTIで働きたいと強く感じました。自分が会社に貢献できるようなエンジニアになりたい」と語った。
２人のインターンシップ生に接する時間が一番長かったASTIの電子機器事業部技術開発部技術管理課の木下課長は、今回のインターンシップを振り返り、「もう少し学生生活があると思いますので、まずは基礎となる部分をちゃんと見に付けて、それを基に拡張とか応用を図っていくということが重要だと思います」とコメントした。
藤巻教授は、「二人ともASTIさんに入りたい気持ちが強いようです。もし留学生達のポテンシャルをもうちょっと見たいと思うようでしたら、引き続きインターンシップで留学生達からレポートを出させ、評価すると言ったことも考えて頂ければと思います」と総評した。

Interactive internship final report session held at ASTI
The final report session for the interactive internship was held at ASTI on September 30th. The debriefing session was attended by ASTI employees, Bangladesh student Mr.Islam (Department of Electronics and Materials Science) and Vietnamese student Mr.Quang (Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering).
Mr.Islam looked back on this internship program and reported his learning and future career goals. Mr.Quang gave a report on his training experience and his future goals, saying, “I strongly feel that I want to work at ASTI through my internship. I want to be an engineer who can contribute to the company.”
Mr. Kinoshita, Chief of the Technology Management Division, Technology Development Department, Electronic Equipment Division of ASTI, who had the longest time to interact with the two internship students, recalled this internship and said, “I think two students have a little more student life, so I think it’s important for two students to study the basic part first and then expand or apply it.”
Professor Fujimaki said, “Both of international students seem to have a strong desire to join ASTI. If ASTI wants to see the potential of the international students a little more, I would like ASTI to think that ASTI will continue to have the international students issue reports and evaluate them in the internship. ”
