On Yokota Ringyo’s interactive internship intermediate report session was held at the
coworking space “Itolier” in Hamakita-ku, Hamamatsu City.
President Yokota attended the session, and together with Indonesian international student Mr.Syafiq (Optical Science Laboratory, Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology) and Vietnamese international student Mr.Tin (Department of Mathematical Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering) who are participating in the internship, they had a review of the first half of the internship and shared and confirmed the contents of the final report session for two students.
At the final report session, the theme was confirmed how to check for surface defects in cast aluminum products. When foreign students and Yokota Ringyo employees worked together to consider the check method, new ideas were proposed by the foreign students, and President Yokota was also very interested in it. “We, small and medium-sized enterprises, deal with specialized matters by narrowing down the technology as a company in the work that is requested on a daily basis, but in the end, there are places where students can reach basic research, and that kind of knowledge. I would be happy if I could receive advice from students, “said President Yokota.
The internship at Yokota RIngyo will continue until the final report session on September 24th.
