On September 21, A.I.S interactive internship midterm report session was held.
A.I.S employees and five international students participating in the internship also
attended the session. And they reviewed the first half of the internship and confirmed the content of the final report.
Each of the five international students made a unique and original presentation. Mr. Singh (Institute of Electronics, Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology), an Indian student explained, “I would like to propose improvement methods in the machining process and quality check process. I also want to play a part in developing the Indian market. A.I.S should promote training and recruitment of international students with A.I.S technology licensing in mind, and strengthen international relations to expand overseas more.” Ms. Huong (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering) a Vietnamese student announced that “I would like to propose a system that detects defective products by applying AI technology to improve productivity,” and “Toward the realization of SDGs., I would like to research a raw material that can replace aluminum, which is the main raw material of A.I.S ”
A.I.S employees commented, “We are looking forward to the final report session of international students,” and “The efforts related to SDGs will be a barometer for customers and university students to evaluate our company, so we will continue to work positively in the future.”
The internship at A.I.S will continue until the final report session on September 28th.
